Apple Watch Ultra owners can download the update by opening up the Apple Watch app on the iPhone and going to General > Software Update. To install the new software, the Apple Watch needs to have at least 50 percent battery, it needs to be placed on a charger, and it needs to be in range of the ‌‌‌‌‌iPhone‌‌‌‌‌.

According to Apple's release notes, the update addresses an issue that could cause audio to be distorted during phone calls when using the speakers.

Customers who preordered the Apple Watch Ultra on launch day will be receiving their orders tomorrow, and Apple retail stores will also likely have stock available.

Can´t believe this ****. Patched before arriving.
Can't believe that anyone would be unhappy that Apple are fixing problems proactively.

Pretty common these days. Happens with other companies, and other products.

Unless it is an Android product, since you'd probably need Mint Chocolate Chip in order to run the latest version and your brand new device would be running the already obsolete Banana Split.

Would you rather they wait a week just so that won't be the case?

Did you get yours early and been dealing with bugs? And if you were lucky enough to get it early, wouldn’t you be happy for an update?

It’s like getting upset when ordering a LEGO set and it doesn’t come completed. I hate when things don’t work perfect right out of the box.

???
LOL! I think its a little different, but its normal. Playstations and Xboxs have for years needed this. Your home computer updates Windows as soon as it turns on and so does your Apple computer. Its to make sure you have the latest and greatest experience. I rather have a company trying to get it right ahead of me having issues, so I just say bravo.
