Starting Tuesday, Apple Watch users can install watchOS 7.3. This adds support for the recently announced “Time to Walk” audio feature for Fitness+ subscribers. There’s also a new Unity watch face. Plus, the ECG app will be available in four additional Asian countries.
New features for Apple Watch users
Time to Walk promises interesting and encouraging audio stories to liven up walking for exercise. Stars like Dolly Parton and Draymond Green talk about their lives and the obstacles they overcame. The feature is part of the new Apple Fitness+ service, which debuted with watchOS 7.2.
The Unity watch face is part of Apple’s celebration of Black History Month.
Also, after installing Tuesday’s update, the ECG app will be available for users of Apple Watch Series 4 or later who are in Japan, Mayotte, Philippines, and Thailand. The same is true for irregular heart rhythm notifications.
