  • Get ready to complete the Earth Day Challenge and International Dance Day Challenge.

For those with an Apple Watch, Apple has two Apple Watch Activity Challenges for you this month.

As reported by 9to5Mac, the month of April will feature both the Earth Day Challenge and the International Dance Day Challenge. The latter is a new challenge for Apple Watch users and is most likely related to the fact that Apple Fitness+ includes dance workouts.

Here are the details for both upcoming challenges:

  • April 22, 2021: Earth Day Challenge: Let's get out and celebrate the planet on Earth Day, April 22. Do any workout for 30 minutes or more to earn this award. Record your time with the Workout app or any app that adds workouts to Health.
  • April 29, 2021: International Dance Day Challenge: Let's groove! April 29 is International Dance Day. Earn this award by doing a Dance workout of 20 minutes or more. Record your time with the Workout app.

For those looking to complete both challenges, you'll have to approach each one a little differently. For the Earth Day Challenge, you'll be able to log your workout in any app that connects with the Health app. The Internation Dance Day Challenge, however, will need to be done by completing a dance workout.

Completing either challenge will win you a virtual trophy as well as unlock exclusive stickers you can use in the Messages and FaceTime app.

For those wondering how to get a dance workout done, Apple will happily help you get one done with Apple Fitness+, the company's new workout subscription service.
