What you need to know

  • Belkin has announced the SOUNDFORM™ FREEDOM True Wireless Earbuds.
  • The earbuds are the first non-Apple headphones to support the Find My app.

Earlier today, Apple announced that third-party products can now be designed to work with the Find My app. Products that support the feature will be added to a new Items tab and will use the Find My network to let users locate them when lost.

As part of that launch, Belkin has announced that it will release the first non-Apple headphones that will support the Find My network. The SOUNDFORM™ FREEDOM True Wireless Earbuds boast up to 36 hours of battery life, Qi wireless charging, and are sweat and splash resistant.

Rich, radiant sound meets exceptional battery life in the SOUNDFORM Freedom True Wireless Earbuds. Custom drivers activate deep bass while maintaining clear mids and highs. Our advanced clear-call technology and dual microphones ensure remarkable call quality. There's up to 8 hours of non-stop playtime, plus another 28 in the charging case. As one of the first third-party accessories to work with the Apple Find My network you can track and locate the charging case using the Apple Find My app.

The design of the new earbuds resembles Apple's own AirPods and AirPods Pro. While the stem looks more like the regular AirPods, they do feature interchangeable ear tips like the AirPods Pro.

Steve Malony, the CEO of Belkin International, says that including Find My compatibility will let customers listen a little more carefree than before.

"As one of the first third-party accessories to provide the unparalleled value of Apple's Find My network, we are excited to elevate the user experience of our audio products. By packing rich and radiant sound with location detection in the compact and comfortable SOUNDFORM™ Freedom True Wireless Earbuds, consumers can listen carefree while focusing on what matters most to them; high quality acoustics, clearer calls, and an overall exceptional experience."
