Groundbreaking new features for iPhone, iPad, and Mac were previewed at the Apple Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC). Here’s a quick recap of what’s coming to iOS, iPadOS, and macOS:
A few highlights:
• Maps offers a beautiful new 3D experience with new road details to help drivers move throughout a city.
• Safari has a gorgeous new look, support for extensions, and a way to keep your tabs organized across iPhone, iPad, and Mac.
• With spatial audio and Portrait mode, FaceTime conversations flow as easily as they do face-to-face.
• watchOS 8 gives your Portrait mode photos a starring role, offers new mindfulness experiences, and lets you unlock your smart lock from your wrist.
• With SharePlay you can share your screen, listen to music, or watch a movie with your friends, all in sync.
• Focus is a new way to match your device to your current mindset by carving out time in your day for your work or personal life.
• Live Text lets you select, drag, and copy text in your photos.
• Find My separation alerts notify you when you leave your AirPods behind.
• Private Relay in iCloud+ makes your Safari browsing more private and secure.
• On iPad, you can now place widgets among the apps on your Home Screen, and App Library automatically organizes your apps.
