Apple releases video detailing privacy features for iOS 15, macOS Monterey

Tim Cook introduces the new privacy video

Repurposing its filmed WWDC keynote, Apple has released a segment of the presentation that concentrates on the company's emphasis on privacy for iOS, and macOS.

For the first time, Apple has taken a segment of its WWDC keynote and released it as a separate video. Featuring a new introduction by Tim Cook, it is the presentation and demo of forthcoming privacy features.

"We believe that privacy is a fundamental human right," says Cook in the new introduction. "We work relentlessly to build it into everything we make, and it's fundamental to how we design and engineer every product and service we put into the world."

The 6'15" video comprises around 1'53 of new introduction, and closing remarks, from Cook. The remaining 4'22" is directly lifted from the WWDC footage, although it does include a re-shot ending to pass back to Cook.
