Anker expanded its ranks of MagSafe-compatible accessories Thursday with a charger all dressed up for iPhone 13’s arrival. The new Anker PowerWave Select+ features a premium fabric covering on an aluminum frame.

Anker PowerWave Select+ MagSafe charging pad

If you’ve ever bought a MagSafe accessory, you probably know Anker offers a wide array of them in many forms. They don’t sport the 15W speeds you can get with official Apple gear, but then again, the prices are usually lower.

Cult of Mac recently wrote about the company’s new Nano Pro Chargers, the PowerWave Sense 2-in-1 Station (iPhone and AirPods) as well as the PowerWave Stand Lite.

Now the company trots out the PowerWave Select+ charging pad, which adds some serious style to the Anker lineup.

7.5W of charging power

The PowerWave Select+ charges your MagSafe-enabled iPhone — the current 12 series or the new 13 series — with 7.5W of power. Like many Anker chargers, it pairs with a 5-foot USB-C cable but does not come with an AC adapter (sold separately).

What separates this charger from others in the lineup is its premium look and feel. The aluminum frame gives Apple’s official MagSafe charger a run for its money, design-wise, and the fabric covering lays on a thicker sense of premium quality.

Premium product, premium price

Considering that higher-end aesthetic, the PowerWave Select+ costs a little than some other Anker products. But it still costs about $10 less than the typical list price of Apple’s official offering.

You can pick up the Anker PowerWave Select+ Charging Pad at Amazon for $29.99.
