The selection of App Store Greats available through the Apple Arcade subscription service continues to grow. Friday brings the addition of Galaga Wars+ and Kingdom Rush Frontiers TD+.

They join dozen of other classic games that players used to have to pay to play individually but are now all available with a single Apple Arcade subscription. Plus there are many more original games, too.

Galaga Wars+ brings the shoot’em up arcade classic to iPhone/iPad. And Kingdom Rush Frontiers TD+ is a fantasy-themed tower-defense game for iPhone, iPad and Mac.

The difference in these and the original version is that the need for in-app purchases has been stripped out. Apple Arcade doesn’t allow them. The same goes for ads, loot boxes and invasive player tracking.

The two titles added Friday are only the latest App Store Greats to expand the options in the gaming service. In recent weeks, Apple Arcade launched:

But the service isn’t just a collection of classics. It has new games too, including NBA 2K22, Lego Star Wars Battles, SpongeBob: Patty Pursuit and over 100 more.

Access to all of these new and classic titles costs $4.99 a month. And one subscription works for up to six family members.
