iPhone 13 Pro Schematic
The iPhone’s inconspicuous exterior belies a complex and intricate interior network of tightly integrated components.
The iPhone 13 was announced by Apple on September 14, 2021. Featuring improved optics, the A15 Bionic, and the Pro models: Sensor stabilization, ProRes video encoding, & a ProMotion 120Hz refresh rate, the latest crop of iPhones are incredibly refined & powerful devices.
And beneath these devices' minimalist glass and metal enclosures lies an incredibly dense network of components that bring the iPhone to life. This metropolis of parts includes the largest iPhone batteries to date, a host of sensors, the 6-core A15 Bionic, 5G modem, flash storage, 6GB of RAM, Bluetooth modules, a Taptic engine, lightning port, NFC chip, U1 ultra-wideband chips, and on and on.

My latest collection of wallpapers was inspired by iFixit's teardown wallpapers of the iPhone 13 Pro & Pro Max, along with the work of Dennis Gecaj & Tobias van Schneider, who created beautiful minimalist schematics of the iPhone 11 Pro.
The schematics of the iPhone 13 Pro & 13 Pro Max were very, very tediously created inside of Sketch using the iFixit wallpaper as a guide of exactly where to put every single component. Transistor by transistor, screw by screw, these wallpapers slowly came to life over many hours. From there, the projects were imported into Pixelmator to create a variety of stunning variations for your devices. And once the iPhone 13 Pro wallpaper was completed, a second 13 Pro Max project was created from scratch. Although they share many of the same components, the sizes and positioning of the components required a complete rebuild of the project.
The schematic is composed of hundreds of layers and individual components.
Ten different designs have been created: Black, Xray, Sunset, Slate, Neon Blue, M1, Card, Blueprint, Rainbow Bloom, & Rainbow . And as a special treat, I've also added three additional designs: 3021, R08135, & DF, which celebrate figures in the community I admire. I plan on creating other colour patterns to release over the next few months, with these 11 being the first of many to come.
These wallpapers are specifically designed for the iPhone 13 Pro & Pro Max, though the 13 Pro version works beautifully on both the iPhone 13 & 13 mini. To set these wallpapers, make sure to turn Perspective Zoom off when setting the wallpaper, and then pinching out to resize the wallpaper to fill the borders of the display.
