Item tracking company Pebblebee launched two new trackers Thursday — the Clip and the Card — that integrate with Apple’s Find My network so you can easily keep tabs on them via iPhone, iPad or Mac.

New Pebblebee Clip and Card item trackers work with Find My

Pebblebee’s Clip and Card work like Apple’s AirTag and other Find My-compatible tracking devices, like the Chipolo Card Spot. You can add them under the items tab in the ‌Find My‌ app and track them on your Apple devices.

Let’s say you attach the Clip to a knapsack or insert the card in your wallet. If you lose those items, the Clip and Card can use Find My to leverage other nearby Apple devices to relay their position back to you.

But Find My isn’t the only option

Or you can use the Clip and Card with the Pebblebee app to take advantage of the CrowdGPS network. So Apple’s ‌Find My‌ app isn’t the only tracking option.

Both ‌iPhone‌ and Android users can use the Pebblebee app, but you’ll need to choose ‌Find My‌ or the Pebblebee app because they don’t work simultaneously.

Simple designs

The Pebblebee Clip is a basic black item tracker with a metal frame. You can attach it to items like keys, bags, bicycles or luggage. It offers a 500-foot tracking range. A loud buzzer makes it easy to locate. It’s water-resistant. And the Clip includes LED lights to make it easier to locate in the dark.

You can slip the Pebblebee Card into wallets, bags, coats, passports and other items. About as thick as two stacked credit cards, it’s made of black plastic. It features a loud leave-behind alert that it plays when activated through the ‌Find My‌ app.

Rechargeable batteries

One difference between these items and AirTag is that the Clip and the Card feature built-in rechargeable batteries. So there is no need to regularly replace the battery.

The Clip’s battery lasts for up to six months on a charge. The Card’s battery works for up to 12 months on a charge.

You can recharge the Card through an included proprietary charging cable that attaches magnetically. The Clip is even easier to charge because it includes a USB-C port and can be charged with any USB-C cable.

Price: $29.99 for Clip or Card; Clip four-pack is $99.99.
