Garden Tails: Match and Grow is a new match-3 game for nature lovers who are looking for a calming time-killer. Play through a series of levels to unlock flowers, bushes and friendly animals.

It debuted Friday on Apple Arcade, and there are versions for a range of Apple computers.

Relax with animal friends in Garden Tails

Match-3 games are very popular, as they can be both simple and challenging. Many people find them relaxing, but they are all too often plagued with constant, irritating requests to make in-app purchases. That won’t happen with any game in Apple Arcade.

Garden Tails from Playdots asks players to solve puzzles to create beautiful 3D gardens for cuddly animals. Throughout the game, animals – such as bunnies, deer, and foxes – will appear and reveal their unique stories.

It emphasizes relaxing play rather than fast-paced action.

Hop over to Apple Arcade

Garden Tails: Match and Grow debuted in the Apple Arcade section of the App Store on Friday. There are versions for iPhone, Mac, iPad and Apple TV.

Fans of match-3 games might also try Zookeeper World and Temple Run: Puzzle Adventure. These come with a single $4.99-per-month subscription to Apple Arcade, along with over 200 other titles. And a family can share a subscription. New games appear almost every week.
